Robert A. Snyder, President and Chief Executive Officer, Director
Mr. Snyder was appointed as President and CEO of Orchids Paper Products on August 20, 2007. He most recently served as General Manager of KTG USA, a subsidiary of Kruger, Inc. Prior to his tenure at KTG USA, Mr. Snyder served in various capcities with Kruger, Inc., Great Northern Paper, Inc., Alliance Forest Products U.S. Corporation and Bear Island Paper Company.
Keith R. Schroeder, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Schroeder has been the CFO of Orchids Paper Products since 2002. Prior to joining Orchids, he was Corporate Finance Director for Kruger Inc.’s tissue operations and Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Global Tissue (Global was acquired by Kruger). Mr. Schroeder also held a number of finance and accounting positions with Cummins Engine Company and Atlas Van Lines. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jay Shuster, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Shuster joined the Orchids Paper Products Board in December 2006 and was appointed Chairman in June 2007. Mr. Shuster is currently an independent consultant with Shuster Group, LLC, a management consulting company he formed in October 2000. Prior to that, he worked for Rock-Tenn Company, a recycled paperboard and specialty packaging company, from 1979 to 2000, last serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Rock-Tenn Company, Mr. Shuster was a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen & Company (now Andersen LLP). He was a member of the board of directors of Atlantis Plastics from 2001 to 2008.
Douglas E. Hailey, Director
Mr. Hailey served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from June 2005 to June 2007. He currently serves as a Managing Director of the Investment Banking Division of Taglich Brothers, Inc., a New York-based full service brokerage firm specializing in private equity placements for small public companies. He is also a Director of Williams Controls, Inc.
Gary P. Arnold, Director
Mr. Arnold has been a Director for Orchids Paper Products since April, 2005. He has expertise in the electronics industry in the areas of finance, strategic planning and operations, and has been involved in numerous capital market transactions. He previously held key positions with Tektronix Corp. and Analogy, Inc. A private investor, he has served on the boards of National Semiconductor Corp. and Telenetics Corp.
Steven R. Berlin, Director
Mr. Berlin has served on our board of directors since December 2005. Since January 2006, Mr. Berlin has been an independent financial consultant. Mr. Berlin was Vice President of Kaiser-Francis Oil Company from 2004 to January 2006, and the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kaiser-Francis Oil Company from 1999 to 2004. He held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of PetroCorp Corporation from 1999 to 2004 and was a director of PetroCorp Corporation from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Berlin was on the faculty of the University of Tulsa, where he taught business and finance courses from 1996 to 1999. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Tulsa, Mr. Berlin worked for CITGO Petroleum Corporation and its predecessors in various financial and management positions, including the last ten years as Chief Financial Officer. He is a member of the board of directors of North American Palladium Limited (AMEX:PAL). Mr. Berlin received his BSBA degree from Duquesne University, his MBA from the University of Wisconsin and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program. He is a certified public accountant.
John C. Guttilla, Director
Mr. Guttilla joined the Orchids Paper Products Board in April 2005. Since 1988, he has been a principal and director in the financial services department of the public accounting firm of Rotenberg Meril Solomon Bertinger & Guttilla, P.C. His expertise is in tax structuring and compliance advice in the areas of real estate, entertainment, brokerage, manufacturing, printing, restaurant and construction. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jeffrey S. Schoen, Director
Mr. Schoen joined the Orchids Paper Products Board in February 2007. Mr. Schoen worked for Cumberland Swan Holdings, Inc., a manufacturer of private label personal care products, from 2002 to 2006, last serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Schoen worked for Paragon Trade Brands, Inc., a manufacturer of private label disposable diapers, from 1999 to 2002, last serving as Vice President-Operations. Mr. Schoen held various positions when he worked for Kimberly Clark - Infant Care, from 1985 to 1993, last serving as Maintenance & Stores Manager.
